My grandfather was Guidalia Assayas, born in Salonika, Greece about 1875. He was a naturalized French citizen. He emigrated to the Philippines and married my grandmother, Lily Naftaly. He had five children, Victor, Rose, Theresa, William, and Henry. Guidalia died in the Philippines circa 1921. We have no information about him other than his marriage license.
