I am trying to help a pensioner who has no access to internet to find out more about the Friedrich Wilhelm Jacoby von Grabowski who came to SA and later changed his name to only JACOBY. He arrived with his father and 6 brothers but I have not been able to find out much about them. Of Friedrichs desecendants I have managed to draw up quite a substantial family tree but have many unlinked surnames.....they seem to have settled in the EAST LONDON, KING WILLIAMSTOWN AND KOMGA areas.
If anyone has any more information I would appreciate it very much.
