Does any one know of a way that a user can clear off their personal dashboard the profiles that come up blank with matches, and the ones they can not either approve or disapprove because the are not a manager or co-manager, those that are Mp'd and locked and the profiles that are "claimed"
It is getting frustrating to have to wade through these profiles each and every time when trying to approve or reject these matches. Some have been around for so long I about got them memorized and do not bother opening the suggestions.
There are those that you can not either confirm, reject, or book mark;
If we are not to confirm, reject or book mark them then they should not be put on our dash board and what is the use of even having them exist if we can not confirm, reject or book mark -
They are among those "Blue dots" that clutter our "Big Tree" and make is look unattractive and as if one is doing anything - The "Blue dots" once upon a time only use to signify that there was just a matching profile on GENI but now it includes the Smart Matches and the Record matches and these have to be sifted through each and every time you go to your Merge center. It would be nice to have these "blue Dots" cleared off the tree which I know was even an impossible task when they were just profile matches for another possible existing profile on GENI.
I have found data that fill in the blanks a date, a place a full name first middle, last and/or a "nickname"; also possibly a title that gives a clues to occupation etc; a child or spouse that's not included. Also it shows how dad data keeps on being perpetuated or possibly where it has come from; besides showing the different name spellings
The information is there linked to the profile so as you go back through the tree you can check and verify data tho I am not sure all who can or can not do that
Me personally I dislike all the clutter the "blue dots" represent on the BIG TREE and if we can gain only one small piece of data - or clue to the person it makes researching that much more easier maybe....
