My Revolutionary War Soldier

My Revolutionary War Soldier was John Dillard (Rabun John) who lived out his
final years in Dillard, Ga. He was married to Ruth Vaughan, my gggg grandmother,
daughter of Thomas Vaughan, born 1720 in Charlotte, Pittsylvania, Virginia and died
in 1787 in Charlotte, Pittsylvania,Virginia.
John served in the Pittsylvania militia from February 1,1776 to March 22,1780
According to my records he was a Lt during the battle of Guilford Courthouse
but I am not sure that my information is correct.
