Erica , I I have found it Willhoit though in the material I have found it spelled Willheit .One of the earliest listings of this name is John Willheit who was the son of Johann Willheit and Anna Hengsteler. John married
"Berga' or Waldburga Weber who was born @ sea in 1717 probably in transit from Germany.

Erica ,I found a conflict or what think is an error in the listing of Charles Joseph Melder . This info was just spotted and was added by my nephew Monte Melder . Charles " Charlie Joseph Melder is my Dad's Dad .He lived in his last years in a house furnished to him by my parents . He passed away while my family parents and siblings were on vacation in the Carolinas . This part of tree showing him as being closely related to Raymond and Crippie Melder is not correct . I have a listing of him as the husband of Frances Miloria West ,Ola Taylor, and Lola Willis. My Dad's name is Charles Homer Melder my ggfather name is James Peter Melder who married Nancy Caroline Lynch. I know this is a lengthy post but I feel that this needs to be done in great detail .
