Name list of those who died.

I'm busy typing up a name list of those who died at this camp. I was thinking of adding a link to A B C etc surnames. I will need some help with setting up these links because I'm not sure how to do that.
Now I need some advice.
1. How to record the surnames?
e.g. BOTHA or Botha? Rensburg v or van Rensburg or Rensburg J v or Janse van Rensburg
2. If it says Botha Johannes and Martha do I list them like that or do I list them individually?
This is quite a huge task I set myself out to do and would like your input.
