Profiles Mentioned:

His ancestry is still unknown, and his name was spelled several different ways in contemporary records (this was very common).

Frances was his first wife, daughter of Henry Peddenton (and had no middle name middle names weren't a "thing" until much later); Alice Watson was his second wife. All dates require correction.

He's George Truitt (I), 1617-1670 (made will 10 July, probated 16 October).

Children by Frances:

2. George Truitt II+4 b. c 1648, d. b 21 Nov 1721
3. Jane Truitt4 b. c 1650
4. Dorothy Truitt+4 b. c 1652

Children by Alice:

2. James Truitt I+4 b. c 1658, d. b 30 May 1718
3. Job Truitt4 b. c 1662, d. b 1 Apr 1730

Nor is that the whole story. Frances had a younger half-brother, Henry Peddenton II, who was born c. 1642 in Northampton Co, VA and wound up in Somerset Co., MD because his mother's second husband, Ambrose Dixon, was a Quaker and one of the founders of the Annemessex settlement. (Further information on Henry will require research into Somerset County records.)
