Good afternoon,

I am looking for any information regarding the ancestors of my paternal grandfather
Johannes Petrus van der Merwe 26 July 1914 to 26 June 1994.

He had one sister Sannie Vermeulen.

He married my grandmother Elizabeth Catharina Wilhelmina Martina Bezuidenhout in 1934.

They lived in Pretoria their entire married lives. I know it is not much, but it is all I have right now.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I have found a link to your grandfather in my own family tree as shown below

"Johannes Petrus van der Merwe is your 6th cousin's husband's father."

I don't know if the information I have will help as the path is from the unknow son and his daughter Getruida Catherina.
