On June 6th.1944, during World War II, Allied Forces would launch "Operation Overlord". Also known as "The Normandy Invasion", this very critical operation would turn the tide of World War II, in favor toward The Allies. The little known mastermind of Amphibious Operations, would be in the hands of then, Brigadier General, Norman Daniel "Dutch" Cota Sr. Major General Norman Daniel "Dutch" Cota at a place called "OmahaBeach".
Celebrated as a turning point in The History of World War II, Gen.Cota's heroic feats are well noted. According to Geni.com, Gen. Cota is considered the 25th. Great Grandson of Gange Hrolfr Rollo Ragnvaldsson of Normandy.
It would also be noted, that he was the first officer, to step on the beach of Normandy, during this historic battle.
Meanwhile... it is also historically noted, that his Son, Lt. Col. Norman Daniel "Dan" Cota Jr., was also a participant, as a fighter pilot, during "Operation Overlord", as well.

Maybe it was predestined to be just him
