Given that My Heritage owns Geni.com, does anyone know if they plan to give Geni members a discount/incentive for joining My Heritage? I understand that for now, they are keeping the companies as two distinct entities. Thanks!

Forgot to ask: Is My Heritage genealogical tools more powerful/comprehensive than Ancestry.com?

Alfredo I can answer your second question somewhat. I use Ancestry (America only) & MyHeritage. There are probably more record sets for USA available in Ancestry, but it's pretty useless to me for international records due to paywall$. The quality of the trees is similar: some very good, some copy & paste. So - depends on your budget & needs. Working with Geni / MyHeritage SmartMatches is terrific, the accuracy for SM records is very good, & the records add a lot of value.
