@Catherine King (Meyer), supposed daughter of @Johan Peter Ruth and @Catherine Ruth (Meyer), was born in 1770 per the book:
Richard Shue, The Kings of York County: Pioneers, Patriots and Papermakers (York, Penn. : the author, n.d.), Part III, page 25.
If @Catherine Ruth (Meyer) is her mother, she would have been age 55 when Catherine King (Ruth) was born.
Is there any real evidence - church records, land records, tax records, probate records, etc. that state a relationship between this supposed mother and daughter?
Any help or suggestons?
Randy
I sure don't like these parents for Catherine King. This compilation looks based on two books, and shows the 10 children of Johan Peter Ruth & his 2nd wife Catherine Meyer as born between 1737 - 1753:

Next post with a citation for the FHL book. But I'd feel comfortable cutting the connection.
While I don't have a signup to HathiTrust, I did searches in the book for:
[philip jacob king]
[philip jacob koenig]
[philip jacob konig]
[philip jacob york]
No results for any of them.
I didn't see any mention of her husband on the Diane Ruth webpage either. Only one son was continued, and he had a daughter born 1783 who married Adam Ream and died 1852.
I can provide an image of the King book page if it will help. How do I do that? :)
