General Tasker Howard Bliss born in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania on December 31, 1853. His father was George Ripley Bliss and his mother was Mary Ann Bliss (Raymond). He was not the son of Col. William Wallace Bliss and Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Bliss (Taylor)- daughter of President Zachary Taylor. The Smart Matches verify this.

Thank you, Erica, I have checked General Bliss' tree and appropriate parentage is already assigned. This was one of some errors I noticed in the line of Zachary Taylor, 12th President of the US.
