Howard Lesser Has brought to our attention that HaSar HaGaon Avraham ben Joseph Jaffe's mother
and wife is most probably erroneous. It is very unlikely that he married his mother's sister.
Also, according to this listing, the third sister of the two other women was married to a man
with the same (or a very similar) name (Mordechai ben Moshe Jaffe) as the son of
HaSar HaGaon Avraham (ben Joseph) Jaffe Margulies (Mordechai ben Avraham Jaffe - HaLevush).
Perhaps names and relations got confused and jumbled up and need to be researched further and untangled.
