How can i retreive an old notification

I noticed today I had a notification from about 9/2014 from a Lee Hall that had an indication of a link to the Kulpecksa family. I moved out of the message to look at the Tree if he/she were listed. When I went back to notifications the message was gone.

How can I retrieve the old notification to contact Lee Hall. This may be a link to a "lost" family on the Kulpecksa side.
