Attention Curators: Please assist

Don't put in comma. And make sure to left justify whatever you put in the date field.

A workaround is to Tab before you save.

I have been having the same problem using Safari on a Mac. It's a known bug and being fixed.

It's any date field. It seems to work if you enter is 5/26/1950 style.

Let us know if you find this fixed now, as they just released the fix. I haven't been in town so haven't added information about dates to a Geni profile in a few days.

Apparently Chrome and Safari users both experienced the date problem.

Mike Stangel would have the latest on this like hatte i have been busy and have not added anything so wasn't even aware they were working on it.

I've been away too so haven't added any dates lately :-)

It seems to be working again now (Firefox user).

Dates are working with I believe the exception of trailing blanks. If you cut and paste a date in with trailing (and perhaps leading) blanks, you will need to backspace and get rid of the blanks.

But the code seems to be okay with periods and commas again!
