Nice catch Private User. I've merged in two of the three and need to look at the third one now.

I'll leave it to the managers to resolve data conflicts, unless you want to.

Thanks, will look at it but new to the area.
I wanted to merge in here:

The merges are okay until here. Needs some research. I suspect that either one of you got the parents confused OR there are two Johns confused.

As for the two John Tresise John Trezise and John Trezise, I found the later one does have evidence for being the son of Grace Tonkin.

There is a marriage record for April 20, 1766 in Cornwall for a John Tresise and Grace Tonkin. I have not found evidence for the earlier Grace Tonkin marrying a John Tresise and so I wrote the manager.

Can you email the manager(s) of the merge I linked above with the two sets of parents?

I am one of the managers now, and maybe less reliable in this instance :)
I have messaged the other manager who is a curator.
Thanks Hatte

I am so embarrassed that I did not know and did not notice that the other manager is a curator. I should have also tagged him in this discussion.

I was in Cornwall for a week hiking in 2012 and thought their family trees would be fascinating and their story.

I did MP one or two of the profiles. With all those John Tresises, I would imagine it's hard to not get them mixed up in merges.

Philip has reversed the merge, but that has isolated the Robert Rowe married to Elizabeth Tresise whose parents:
Elizabeth Tresise
•Christening: Apr 21 1776 - Saint Just In Penwith, Cornwall, England
•Parents: John Tresise, Thomasin
Maybe that is where the merge should occur?

I can look into it tomorrow, okay? Or perhaps Philip can arrange it in the right place before that.
