Private User, Donna's pictures just can't be "gone". Maybe the pictures are all there but they the keys to Donna's profile as the owner were corrupted in the database.
Have you seen this before? To recover, could it be as simple as opening a ticket?
If they are "gone", there must be backups available, thus yet again, opening a ticket.
What do you think?

Donna, how many pictures have you lost?
mario
We need an example of a profile where the picture is gone. There should be a revisions on that profile if someone have unlinked it.
Secondly she did not tell where she looked...
Example: http://www.geni.com/photo/organizer
This however the only place where you can delete albums and if she accidentally clicked that she need help from Geni staff.
As a Pro she should raise a support ticket, because curators does not have access to others photo albums: http://help.geni.com/requests/new
I lost about 400 pics I believe. Use them as markers for profiles I want my family to read. I am sure as I look at it I hit the delete myself. In the revisions I can tell what time it happened even. Can probably figure it out but it is going to take a lot of time to redo. Thanks for the suggestions. Will try to make a ticket.
We don't have access to peoples support tickets either, so there is no need to post one here. As a Pro subscriber, directly support from staff is what she is paying for.
Hopefully they can restore her album and the image tagging. I am quite sure that you get an extra question if you want to delete a photo album, so this might however be a what I call: You asked for it, you got it.
The extra confirmation stage usually tell that it cannot be reverted, but who knows what the engineers might be able to.
Donna, do you have the ticket number you generated? Please post it here. I will use it as a reference.
I suggest you wait a few days. Let's see if customer support can do something about it.

Following on Bjørn's point above, when your pictured disappeared, do you remember if there was a message like "Are you sure you want to delete pictures?"
I am just trying to understand and it may help customer support: do you think you deleted your picture by accident (e.g. you may have clicked "Yes, I am sure" when you meant otherwise? Or do you think it was a system error, that something wrong happened with the Geni application?
I was deleting some pictures. Every time I received a message asking if I was sure I wanted to delete. I didn't have any videos. No documents were lost. Don't think it was system error or the Geni application. Think it was operator error. My ticket # is 68017. Just putting this out so other people will be more cautious than I was and lose their work.
