Norman W. Hysell, Jr., 55, of Warren, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 27, 2014 at Cottage Hospital, in Woodsville, NH.

Born on October 29, 1959, in Columbus, OH, he was the son of the late Norman W. and Joan (Landis) Hysell, Sr. Norman was raised in Columbus attending local schools. After graduating high school Norman enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Baumholder, Germany, he then returned to Fort Carson, Colorado where he served until his honorable discharge in 1983.

Norman was a CDL certified long-haul truck driver for many years travelling throughout the U.S... He also had various other careers and gave his all at every job he’s had and was valued and respected by his co-workers. Norman was most recently employed with Walmart, in Woodsville, NH.

He will be lovingly remembered by his family as a devoted husband, father and grandfather; he was humble and caring to those he knew, and was always willing to help those in need whenever and however he could. Norman had a deep love for wildlife; he enjoyed feeding and watching his backyard birds. He was an avid NASCAR and NHRA racing fan, and he loved all Ford cars in general.

Norman is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Denise (Sprague) Hysell, of Warren; daughter, Jennifer Govoni-King and her husband Peter, of Plymouth; three sons, Robert Govoni and his significant other Holly Eddy, of Fall River, MA, Norman Hysell, III, of Columbus, OH, Joseph Hysell, also of Columbus; six grandchildren, Chelsea, Dominic, Giovanna, Landon, Jonathan, Brooklyn, and several other grandchildren; five brothers, Terry, Richard, Kirk, Robert, John; several sister-in-laws and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
