Something must be wrong here - Sir Roger was born allegedly in June 1408 (curiously precise date for the era) - but the man given as his father, Sir John Ward, appears to have died 17 years previously, in 1391.

don't rely on the dates that far back, but it is wrong as it stands. more research is needed. either the relationship should be confirmed or changed if it turns out "wrong".

could sir roger have been born in 1391 and sir john ward die in 1408? it almost seems to me that someone got the birth and death years mixed up when entering them
