It appears the profile for Hawise de Vernon (de Reviers) is incorrect with the marriage to JORDAN De CAMBERNON as she only had one marriage to FitzRobert.

The below profies are a mess.

1. JORDAN de CHAMBERNUN. Seigneur de Cambernon and Maisoncelles in
Normandy, France. In 1146 Jordan de Campo Ernulfi was first witness of a
confirming charter of Henry de Tracy, then Baron of Barnstaple to the Priory of
St. Mary Magdalene, Barnstaple, Devonshire. He appears to have died by 1166,
when his sons Jordan and Henry were in possession of his lands.
He married, as her first husband, Mabel, daughter of Robert, son of
Robert, Earl of Gloucester, and Hawise, daughter of Baldwin de Redvers, 1st
Earl of Devon. Mabel married 2ndly, William de Soliers. As Mabel de Soliers,
she confirmed in c1193-1204 a gift charter of the manors of Fleet and Ibberton,
Dorsetshire from her mother, Hawise, to her son, Richard de Chambernun.

So writing down what you both said above in the form of a tree we still have conflict:

It seems to me that Mabel/Mabil married Jordan Champernon and that she was the daughter of Hawis/Hawise/Avis but was her father Robert fitzRobert Castellan of Glos. (s/o Robert Earl of Glos) or was her father Gilbert/Philip Soligny?

Could 'William de Soliers' be the same as Gilbert/Philip de Soligny?

It seems that Emma de Soligny and Mabil de Soligny are one and the same person and it seems unlikely that if Hawise/Avis was one person that she married Gilbert/Philip Soligny as this would mean brother and sister marrying which leads then to the question of who Gilbert/Philip Soligny did marry i.e. who were Emma's parents..... Oh dear! Mabel and Emma cannot possibly be the same person.... there I go getting in knots again!

I'm just the amateur here, so maybe I should set back & let you solve this one, but I'm really getting confused. I had Mabel FitzRoberts m. Jordan Champernon. Mabel as the daughter of Robert "the Kings Son" deCaen, 1st Earl of Gloucester, Earl of Meullent & Maud (Mabel) FitzHammon de Meullent, dau. of Robert FitzHammon Lord of Glamorgan & Creully & Sibyl de Montgomery.
Robert was the son of Henri I & Concubine 1.
Does any of this make sense with what you're saying? And is Jordan de Champernon the same person as Jordan de Cambernon?

Or, are you discussing another Jordan de Champernon? Understand there were two.

Jordan de Champernon is my 25th & 28th ggf...which makes it even more confusing keeping 2 lines straight. Does this make sense?
