There is a pending merge based on son Nicholas Paine, but it would place a conflict on Thomas Paine, of Salem, regarding his mother. Is it Elizabeth Paine or Margaret Paine (Pultney). According to the marriage info, they both married him the same year. Then you have another Unknown Profile married to Thomas, who has different parents then Elizabeth Paine.

Jeff, you do not give any dates on these Pain relatives. I do not use Geni for the very reason you are stating here. In my personal data base, I do not have any of the wives you have listed here. Sorry I can not be of any help here.

They're all linked in the forum, so just follow the links to see the dates.

@ Elizabeth Paine (Tuthill)
I have been going around in circles regarding this. I have walked away at least 5 times and more confused each time. I cam back to it today and I have found a couple of new sources.

I have found that they have Thomas Paine was married to Elizabeth Bloomfield born 11 Dec 1584, but there is no parentage on this site.
https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Bloomfield-27
WikiTree also shows that Elizabeth (Bloomfield) Paine as being married Thomas pain with a marriage date in England. There is no parentage for her on this source. Have fun, I am still trying to search resources that will help

@ Elizabeth Bloomfield.
I don't believe, I pulled up another source and this one I usually look at first. But, I didn't this time. This time the site is familysearch:
https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/LD18-X8Q
This does give her parentage. YAH!!! Less confused this time. Hope again this helps
