Could I be Billung -

Wichmann II Billung Graf in Hamaland-23303 was born circa 820 in Billung, Germany. He died circa 880 in Jettingen, Stuttgart, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany. Wichmann married (MRIN:12761) Imminhild von Sachsen-23302, daughter of Amalung II von Sachsen Graf in Ostfalen im Gefolge des Karls des Großen-23318 and Haduwy von Herford Grafin im Fränkischen und Sächsischen-23319 (MRIN:12751). Imminhild was born circa 780 in Saxony, Germany.

They had the following children:

2 M i. Egbert /Eckbert (Aethelberht) Billung Graf im Wettigau-23301 was born circa 855 in Billung, Germany. He died 875 Egbert married (MRIN:7612) Gerberge van Hamaland-23300, daughter of Meginhard II van Hamaland Graaf van Hamaland-23284 and Evesa von Sachsen-23282 (MRIN:10105).

It says, "There are so many uncertainties regarding the genealogy of the Billung family that detailed speculation on any precise relationship does not seem worthwhile."

That about sums it up. On Geni, every time we start to make some progress in this area someone comes in and tries to re-do the whole area according to one particular theory.

I was re-tracing this section back into my person file s for back-up and research -

You can be rest assured that I do not edit any profiles that are unlocked - with way people have been on GENI the last few months - - I'd rather do it in my own personal file on my computer and keep tabs on it that way -
