How was it possible that Pedro Comnemous, born in Spain, have a father who lived and died in Turkey. I have been looking
for a source of this statement and to date, have found none. Does anyone have a source for this claim?

It's from a "traditional" Spanish genealogy. Don Pedro was supposed to be a Byzantine prince (born in Constantinople, not in Toledo as Geni says) who went to Spain and helped defeat the Muslims at the battle for Toledo in 1085.

It seems a bit implausible but I wouldn't discard it without some actual research. There are earlier documented links between Constantinople and Spain, and Constantinople never gave up hope of dominating the entire Mediterranean. Even so, on the surface, it looks like a typical ancestor myth -- "our first known ancestor was really a prince, who ..."

For this one, you need an expert in the original sources for Spanish royal and noble genealogy.

Why not?

When born Pedro Komenus Constantinopla o Toledo?!

I am from Peru, Toledos family. I was sorprised to found an allready done genealogy tree about my ancestry.
If someone followed the tree two months ago you could found The last ancestry Pedro Gutierrez Toledo conde de Carrion, and I founded in otree that he was he comes from Isac Komneno , so I completed that tree.
Then someone changed, at is now
.

They put Pedro Gutierrez conde de Toledo and not of carrion, but it seems to be the same peraon because the wife is Jimena Nueñz de Bierzo and also because his birth day is the same, 1053. So now someone chage CONDE DE CARRION to CONDE DE TOLEDO. Then they change the complete tree as you can see.
That linke begins with me and my brother and sister, then my mother and father, my grand mother, then her mother was Concepcion Saez Toledo and her Mother was Maria Benjamina Toledo. Then you could follor up from that second name.

I am very confused. Because for me was clear that he (pedro Gutierrez de Toledo conde de Carrion) comes from Isac komnene. I alwas Knew that, and now is changed by some one that maybe dont speak spanish and dont understand wath is a second name
My name is Raul Fuentes Gomez-Moron from Lima Peru. Thankyou.
