I think the John Tracy who married Mary Prence in about 1660 was born in about 1633 to Stephen Tracy and Tryphosa Lee.
The Christening record of John Tracy to Stephen and Agnes (Erdley) Tracy in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England. This is a separate John Tracy from Sgt John Tracy, and is John Tracy 1633 uncle.
I don't have an authoritative source for this, other than
Sherman Wild Tracy, The Tracy Genealogy; Being Some of the Descendants of Stephen Tracy of Plymouth Colony, 1623 (Rutland, Vt.. : The Tuttle Publishing Company, 1936).
for which I have photocopies of some pages. It's probably in genealogy libraries like NEHGS.
The only marriage I have for Sgt John Tracy Sr is to Mary Prence. Who are Deborah Tracy and Mary Tracy (Winslow)? What records are there for these asserted marriages?
Erica mentioned I was looking at this family too. This discussion is about John Tracy who married Mary Prence. I hadn't focused on him or Mary but rather his sister Rebecca Merrick (Tracy) who married Ensign William Myrick. It seems quite clear that Rebecca and John are the children of Stephen Tracy (Jr, or III?) baptised 1596 and Tryphosa Tracy (Lee). It also seems clear that there was a Stephen Tracy b 1559 who married in 1587 (LDS) Agnes Tracy (Erdley) and this latter Stephen Tracy's parents were Christopher Tracy (1531) and Margraet Tracy (1539). Some literature says there is no proof that Stephen Tracy and Agnes Tracy Erdley were the parents of the Stephen Tracy that married Tryphosa Tracy. Another site or two says this was a parent child connection. I'm just not sure.
Find A Grave seems to show a reasonably well researched entry from which the profile can be conformed. It suggests that he held military rank of lieutenant, and married only one person, that being Mary Prence.
Presuming this to be the right person, based on the children (through whom most people would trace this person to), I would say that the parents are off, and that they need to be disconnected in favor of Stephen and Tryphosa Lee Tracy (as opposed to conforming the profile to the John Tracy born to Stephen and Agnes Eardley Tracy).
If this is the thrust of the suggestion, great, I got it right. If not, then I blame a lack of sleep from being up at 2 a.m. -Ben.
While we're looking at this group, I wonder if we should go forward disconnecting his mother, Tryphosa Tracy from anecdotal parents?

Has her parents as "unknown," with a probable association with the Fuller family in Leiden & Plymouth, but not the sister of Bridget Fuller
I would agree with this. My research shows the same. My concern is with the person Geni has as Stephen Tracy III (the father of John Tracy who marries Mary Prence.) Stephen Tracy Sr. and his wife Agnes Tracy (Erdley) have a son which is stated to be Stephen Tracy Jr. baptised in 1596, but is he the same guy as Stephen Tracy III married to Trkyphosa Tracy???
