I have received a message from Louisa MOSTERT
"I am not 100% sure that Marie Catharina du Toit was born in 1629, but I am quite sure she was not born in 1604 as her father, Stephanus du Toit, was born in 1602."

Another piece of fraught data on the same line as Isabeth Du Toit - discussed here: http://www.geni.com/discussions/134778?msg=967378. Two cases of parthogenesis in the same line :-)

It would be good to find some solid sources for the father's birthdate before adjusting hers, but I agree with Louie that, as it stands, it's just irritatingly anomalous - so I'm changing the birth year to the one suggested, and logging it here for future when we want find sources and want to follow up.

Nico Swart has just contacted me about: Maria Marguerite du Toit

=Something is WRONG with this lady. Her eldest child is born when she was only 3 years old.=

and I see that Stephanus du Toit - her husband - mentioned above is still part of the problem.

I'm about to embark on a 2 day cross country drive, so won't be able to concentrate properly on this for a couple of days -

in the meantime maybe we can get a research team together to solve the mystery of which dates should be changed.
