Tremendous challenge, and I have worked on bits and pieces myself there.
Racineshistoire is generally a quite solid basis. What kind of help would you need. Are you trying to frame this challenge through a Geni project? Or, is it possibly easier if I or another French-speaker would focus on it and sort out the châtelains de Lille on Geni, once and for all?

I believe Ludovic IV is Ludovic de Francs Occidentales son of Ludovic IV) .Louis IV of France
I am trying to find out whether they had any connections to the de Bouvilles or de Colvilles who have connections to a Saswalo at the time of Domesday

But i do query Ludovic whether he was the father of Quentin as the source shows the connection as a dotted line not a continuous one. That leaves Karolus and the question what relation was he?
