I am looking for this man, JAMES HOWE, who was my great-great grandfather. He was born in Ireland about 1802. I am trying to find out where he was born in Ireland.
He appears in Ulster County, New York around 1828. He married during the early 1830's to a woman named Margaret C. Ashton, from Yorkshire, England. They had 7 children, including: William Montgomery, Franklin, Joseph Warren, Robert James, Jane, John Wesley, and Milton. James died in 1864; he is buried in Colonel Jacob Rutsen Ground, near Rosendale, Ulster County, New York.
