Does anybody know Birgit's birth date? Or death date?
Churchbooks for Vinje starts 1717. The 1701 census only mention men and boys over the age of 1.
Since she is giving birth to a child in 1735, you can start looking for her burial from this page in the churchbook: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=7998&idx_id=7... but as far as I can see there are huge gaps.
