For an article on Thorsten Renvall's work as an ornithologist, we studied also his family relationships.The family grave of Renvall is in the Old Cemetery of Turku, Finland and the dates for all three were on the gravestone
Anna Renvall was born 12.6.1886 and died 5.4.1964. Anna (had?) worked as a milliner (modisti in Finnish). they got married in the beginning of 1920's
Their daughter Rea Renvall lived 21.8.1925-1.11.2012. She was probably never married.
Thorsten's dates of birth and death are 10.3.1868-5.11.1927.
There is a new book on Renvall's, especially on their summerhouse "Tervapääsky" (in Finnish only, The Swift) by Liisa Niinikangas (2013: Tervapääskyn siivellä) and Thorsten, who was one of the sons of archbishop Thorsten Renvall and a schoolmaster in colleges for his whole career, but also a PhD in Zoology.
