Mary Sarah Moore, my great grand aunt, was born on April 25, 1825 in Lincoln Co., TN. On January 10, 1850, she married Henry Amasa Grigg in Lincoln, TN. He was born on April 18 1831 in culleoka, Muary, TN. I am having trouble deciding on the number and names of their children.
I'm pretty sure their first son, Robert John David, was born on January 22, 1851 in TN. And I think their second son, Paul Samuel, was born on September 10, 1853 in Kingston, Madison County, AR. It appears that the family moved from TN to AR about 1852.
After that, the sources do not agree. Some sources have another son as the next child, Jasper Risdom. Other sources have a daughter as the next child, Jasamine. Then there is a lot on conflictin information as to the number of other children and their names. I know they had another son, Albert A, who was born October 16, 1897 and died at the age of 5 on August 1, 1872. He is buried with his parents and several other family members at the Kingston Cemetery in Madison County, AR.
Anyone else out there who is related to this family? Anyone with additonal information?
