It seems there are currently some 'confused' families this James Parker of Massachusetts and the various wives currently attached to him. Does someone know these families well enough to sort them out?

One possible set of info that (on the surface) looks o.k.:
James Parker-1617: http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=hnpar...
James Parker-1652: http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=hnpar...

I 'got here' by looking at the FindAGrave entry for Deacon Samuel Parker, supposedly the son of the 1652 James:

(the many apparent Mary Parkers as daughters & wives certainly contribute to the issues!)

I know he was one of five Parker relations who arrived here around the same time.

I think you are confusing Capt. James Parker who married Elizabeth Long abd as far as I know no other wives should be attached to him and his son James Parker who married his cousin Mary Parker and had a son Samuel Parker who sold his inheritance from his father James Parker to his brother Phineas Parker and moved to Boston Ma to become a Deacon. I am his direct descendant so any other questions. Please ask ,and thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Sherry ... can you get these straightened out? If I'm going to do so, I'll need a bit more (a LOT more) details and guidance ... preferably via a document attached to a couple of relevant profiles!
