Boon Family of Texel

Hey Guys and Girls,

I am just trying to find out some information or be pointed in the right direction for finding out information about my dutch ancestry.

my dad is no longer alive and didn't really have that much info on his family. I know of some little details, but not that much.
the info I do have, I will list and any info would be greatly appreciated.

grandparents: Auke (Daniel) Boon born on 20/12/1910, I assume in Texel- I think he may of had one brother, who was younger. he married my grandmother Idske (Ida) De Jong, De Jung or De Young who was from Friesland, I remember she spoke a very old form of dutch language, she would argue with my grandfather and he couldn't understand her. I think her family were land owners in Friesland and I heard that she had brothers and sisters. they had 3 boys in Holland. my uncle John (Jan Hendrik) born around 1936-1938 my dad Dennis 1945, the youngest boy Arnie 1946 and they had a daughter in Australia in 1955 Elly. they left the netherlands in 1952 on a boat called the ss nelly heading to australia and never returned to the Netherlands. I heard from my uncle john, that he was in contact with a first cousin named Fup and he had 2 boys. my uncle wont really talk about the family in Holland and was very guarded, when I would question him...I think it has to do with his wife, who is a cow!
