Schulte indicates 1777.
The directory "Etat de Negotians Juif les plus ... dans la commune de Cologne" from 1804 writes that he was 44 years old. Thereafter, born in 1764. (He lived at the time in the house 901) According to Erich Cohen "Aufbewahrtes Leben unter schützenden Händen," page 476, he died in the Bolzengasse No. 12 on 16.08.1840.
