I have recently discovered some bad merges between the various John Buchanan's, their wives, named Jane, and their assorted children.

I would appreciate any comments and corrections needed to the family tree.

I question the accuracy of this John Buchanan who is on record here as being the grandfather of President James Buchanan. The dates of the John Buchanan associated with President James Buchanan have his birthdate as 1725 and the death date as 1810. These dates agree with Find a Grave who also served as an Army Private in the York County Militia during the Revolutionary War

I find this quite questionable:

Death: 1802 (85-86) County Donegal, Ulster, Ireland
Place of Burial: Lancaster, Lancaster, PA, United States

I don't know what the actual birth/death dates are, but it doesn't seem reasonable for someone to die in Ireland in 1802 and be buried in Pennsylvania.
