Funny, but my grandfather's family (Fellman) were also among the 66... Small world.

Kav HaDorot is not a good reference point, it's a fake profile connecting many profiles as his ex-partners, don't know why, and already reported to Geni. Don't repect a reply there.

I did not find claimed profiles for neither Dvora Esumin nor Dr. Shmuel Hartzfeld. There are 2 private profiles for each of them, one is managed by you and the other by Kav HaDorot.

I guess you have to look for contacts outside Geni - Facebook may be a good idea, or just the good old white pages....

If you have more names to search in Geni, I can help - and I can send a message to both you and the other person that you cannot send directly.

I am researching my daughter in law's family history and I think she may have a connection to this family. Perhaps you and others who are in the Cohen/Kahana family can help out.
Her 4th great grandfather was R. Moshe Nachum TICKTIN who married Itka Chenia COHEN/KAHANA. I get this from a eulogy for his son R. Todros Yokil TICKTIN that was given by R. Eliyahu Aharon son of R. Moshe Leib Cahana. Is this the same Eliyahu Aharon that is your great grandfather? Eliyahu states in the eulogy that he was a close relative of Todros Yokil.
If you think it is I will respond and share the eulogy to see if we can figure out the connection.

I got Esther Ticktin Augustovsky/Augustus's birthdate from the 1900 US Census. It listed her birthdate as Nov 1877.

I would probably defer to Elyse on the mother of David Joshua Ticktin conflict. She apparently found evidence of previous marriage of Todros Yacil Ticktin and has reason to believe the children were from this marriage and he married Golda Reizel later.
