good work!
I still have the idea MOOS-KOOCKER has something to do with the vegetable MOSS, maybe the cooked it to 'MOES' to prepare medicinal things...?

Alex Moes
have a look at the project
* http://www.geni.com/projects/Schippers-in-Noord-Oost-Nederland-in-v...
for there were a lot MOES-people working on ships in the Dutch canals to transport Moss, in the meaning 'VEEN' or 'TURF' to use to warm the houses.
Maybe project-worker Private User can offer you some co-management to continue your MOES-odyssea... groetjes, Jeannette.

Jeanette.
A cousin has suggested many peaches in Drenthe.
I have documents from a court case for these people.
I'll look to upload tomorrow

peach=perzik
You like those fruits? Maybe you mean something else, but I can't understand... sorry!

Yes perzik.
Brandy.
Vuurwater?

Ah, destillations! good stuff in wintertime, isn'it? so your family is from the cookers of -not apple- but perzikmoes? Do you inherit a brand also, apart from the nice name?

still looking :)

did you see that Jan Moes was a bierdraager?

© foto 1979 : Robert Roos van RAADSHOOVEN te Voorburg

no, but there is a big difference between bier-drinkers and someone who like a jenever...
See my project about famous Dutch liquorice:

I have to spend some time at looking at descendants, i see now.

This is a better example of Dutch skills in making good drinks:

sorry, a bier-draager is NOT a bier-drinker, only after work maybe?

I thought you spoke Dutch ;) Bier-drager... he moved beer around, probably drank some too.

Considering he was buried at Zuiderkerk i think of him as a liquor-merchant rather than a wagon driver.

:)
