To those of you who have soldiers who died in world war one could you please add them to The WW1 wall of honor project to help commemorate ANZAC day

Samuel Gospodneitch 1917 , died from wounds aged 19.

Hi Jason, I have seen the war memorial at Waitangarua, West Coast , Southisland New Zealand, with his name on it. I have recently moved to Australia to live wiyh my son, and as I only have a bedroom, no room to bring all my paper records with me. I do have a Cenotaph Data base record there. On my Family Tree Maker I have info from NZ War graves as follows Samuel Anthony Gospodnetich 22401 ,b.8/10/1898. NoK. T Gospodnetich, Tarakohe,cement worker, Nelson NZ. Occ. Labouer. No Force. New Zealand. NZEF Canterbury Reg. 1st Battalion. Army. DoD 7/12/1917,. Age 19., Conflict. WW1., CoD. Wounds recieved in Battle., Cemetary Lijssenthoek Military Cemetary. Ref. XXV11 D2 Belgium.

Lance Corporal George Singleton Stark ,Serial No. 17/186 Otago Infantry Regiment. died at Somme , France 15 September 1916. Killed in Action.

My Great Great Uncle, William Arthur Watkins died of wounds sustained in WWI, coincidentally dying on 25th April, but in 1918.

@Thomas Whightman Strong, age 21, died September 1,1918, 'in the field'. What a phrase these words evoke.
Army records show several visits to hospital in the weeks preceeding his death.
