Family tradition- 2 brothers, one in the Military- I have seen photos, and another in the brewery business- Another story in the family is that an Aunt Sophia left and estate to American branch of the family, Remare line- due to war situation WWll- jewllery and realestate documents were received and there is a will somewhere among relatives- I have no idea who holds possession of said will. Among jewllery was a noblemans collar- broken up into jewlery for 3 female cousins est. by jeweller to be 13th 14th Black Forest gold. I had a chance to wear it before it was broken up- jeweller also commented that in his opinion it should be placed for historical viewing and not broken up.

The only name in connection with the Wurth family was named Conrad Mannert 1756-1834 born Nuremberg, later professor of history at the University of Altdorf and later at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich ( then in Landshut) in Bavaria. This was provide to me by grand daughter of Mary Wurth Remare, daughter of Adolphus. RSVP if any information or connections. Thank you
