In November 1906, The new Broardway Musical/Play "The Rose of The Rancho" debut at The Belasco Theatre in The Broadway Theater District of Manhattan. Accorting to the original casting, Actor-Performer, Joseph Harry Benrimo was performing at the first nights opening.
At that time for an actor to be booked for a new show... they would have to attended an series of Audition(s) and/Rehersals, before final acting placements are made. To discern the frequency of Joseph Harry Benrimo's location... it is very possible, that he arrived in The New York Area just before The San Francisco Earthquake that happened during The Spring? If he was in San Francisco during the quake, the chances are he would have stayed to help family members collect what was saved after the destruction. Oh the other hand, due to him possibly not being in San Francisco, he would have been restricted to return at the time and possibly lose his Audition/Rehearsal opportunity... unless he had direct contact with someone with the show that he could return quickly, but this seems least likely. Though there were no Top billing stars in The Original Cast, this may have been a god send for him and his family. In 1907, the show relocated to Brooklyn. If Joseph Harry Bernrimo was residing in Brooklyn with His Cousins, then it is possible that his Brother, Thomas Daniel Benrimo, could have arrived and stayed with him, till he got settled. This date might indicate also Thomas being employed by Brooklyn's Pratt Institute and having him working on stage sets, by way of His Brother, Joseph?

"The Rose of The Rancho" goes on the road...
With the success of The Musical/Play "The Rose of The Rancho", the show reclocates to Brooklyn in 1907.
During 1906, Producer/Director, David Belasco, got together with other Associates assemble and founded "The Bronx Opera Company". As a Director, Belasco becomes involved with the building of "The Bronx Opera House", which opens in 1913.
On May 23, 1910, An advertisement announced the opening of "The Rose of The Rancho" at The Morosco Theater in Burbank, California.
The Main Stage Production Director was Frederic Belasco... not David Belasco. There seems to be no indication if Joseph Harry Benrimo is part of the cast. If Joseph was still part of The Belasco Group, his possible ending may have occurred before 1913.
This date indicator becomes obvious, when David Belasco, gives filming rights to Cecil B. Demille to do a screenplay of the Musical/Play.
One of the original cast members was Actress-Performer, Frances Starr. She is billed in the film, when it debut in November 1914.
Meanwhile in 1913, Joseph is Playwriting "The Yellow Jacket"... with it's debut in 1914.
There is a possibility that His Brother, Thomas is assisting as Set Director and His Other Brother, Arthur Benrimo is an Actor-Performer in the play.
