Elizabeth "Bettie" Anne Harris (Sims) - Is Ann Elizabeth Sims the same person?

Yes... A lot of records - like census - refer to her as "Bettie" which was apparently the nickname by which she was known...

There is some debate about whether her real given name was really Ann(e) Elizabeth or Elizabeth Ann(e)....

I might well have it backward on the profile...

But I may have it backward too. Got to be one and the same based on husband's name. He was already in the tree as well. I'll leave it up to you on how to show names and tie the lines together
