Can I suggest that the title be modified to add the word "Repbulic"? German Jewry in the Weimar Republic (1918 - 1933 )
Second question--how geographic specific is the intent of this project? Would someone like Freud or Kafka be excluded as German-speaking Jews who never lived in Germany proper? Another option might be "Interwar German Jewry" which might include some of these other German-speaking Central European Jews.
I will be starting a "German-Jewish Intellectuals" project to broaden the temporal scope a bit as well. I will invite you all once I do this.
