Hildred Tyler Watkins As far as I know everyone can use those sites. The first one has some links that don't work anymore, but it can give you a place to start.
Hildred Tyler Watkins : The http://www.theinternetfoundation.org/Family/ page is specific for a few of the 'family' related to the site-owner, Richard Collins.
You're welcome, Herman Doty, Jr. There is nothing like learning history through your ancestor's lives. Enjoy! :)

Dan Cornett I read the "She Rode the Trails" information. What a great narrative and history! I have the records of my grandfather Homer Lee Doty. He was born in Barry County, Missouri. His father was Henry John (possibly John Henry Doty) but only once mentioned as John Henry on his marriage certificate to Susan Tucker any other records refer to him as Henry John Doty. Henry John Doty's father was Benjamin Doty Born abt 1815 and married to mary Talbott.
Herman Doty, Jr ... what a treasure, to have your grandfathers records.
I found a "John Henry Doty" (1841-1904) profile on Geni, but that one was not married to a Susan Tucker.
There is a FindAGrave entry for Benjamin Franklin Doty, b 1815 or 1818, but neither of his spouses were Talbots, and he lived in Kentucky.
It would be wonderful if you could start building out your family tree so that, hopefully, at some point your family will 'connect' with other family branches already here on Geni. There is a 1785 John Doty on Geni ... but no descendants attached (yet!).
