I think it relevant to include references to the large group of German immigrants to NSW in the general description of http://www.geni.com/projects/German-settlement-in-Australia/16515.
Wilhelm Carl Ludwig Kirchner who was also the NSW Consul for Hamburg and Prussia was a prominent immigration agent who organised immigration of skilled migrants including vignerons and artisans to NSW.
Dear Michele,
thank you very much for your information!
I just added the profile of Wilhelm Carl Ludwig Kirchner to the "German settlement in Australia" project.
I'll like to invite you also to this project to hellp find more information about German immigrants to Australia.
Sincerely,
Tobias Rachor
(German Curator)
Europe is not so big....
maybe a small corner for Hungarians can be placed here.
A lot of European geni-users lost profiles in their ancestry when their grand-mothers-&-or-fathers decided to leave their birth-places and took their children to get boats & planes to explore new territories. Australian people might be able to help them to find their pedigree and join families again.
I have friends and relatives in Australia.Unfortunately I lost the connection to them. It would be nice to find their contact information and build connection to them (again) here.
The sister of my mother Private lived for decades in Sidney, her doughter Mariann Erder lives probably also today in Sidney. How could I find her and her family?
The best friend of my mother (who visited Australia many times) were the Wenkarts(Juliska and Fred) It would be interesting tofind their roots (coming from Austro.Hungary) and living relatives (e.g. Tom Wenkart).
There is the option to start a project for Hungarian settlement in Australia.
I can do so If you like, as I have done for this, Cornish and English.
The Prussians are covered in this project, and maybe some overlap. My geography is not so good, I will leave the descision to those who know etter, but happy to do the work to create the project.
I have some Hungarian friends in South Australia, my friends name is Atilla :)
A specific project may find your friends, I also have a project Lost and Found in Australia, that was designed to add profiles of people you wish to find or connect on the tree.

Private User I am from South Australia and have concentrated my efforts there, sorry if the project does not yet embrace other states so well. Could you possibly add your input to the project to expand its reach?
All results will show in History link, and I feel it will be of much value for many years to come.

thank you Private User for your thoughts and comments.
I think an umbrella project would help to have a bit better organised project structure.
Origin, nations, migrations, settlement, communities - this are all interesting and actual topics.
I'll think about this - maybe we can discuss it in the http://www.geni.com/discussions/150625?msg=1057161discussion of the http://www.geni.com/projects/Hungarian-Coffee-Corner/14986 project
My parents are the best at maintaining relationships except until they feared my relationship with my employer and what they provided me to divorce a man who was abusive. Then the community at large prevented me from repaying the debt at salacious doubts of my stability and made it so. This does not change what my parents have done in life and that is establish relationships and maintain them. Great riches should find me and my family when those persons finally settle the debts with the correct persons in the Demel family and the Porath Family and the Vieceli Family.
