Elizabeth Ann was married to Gituango Valesco as a Minor - both her and her sister were left in Mozambique with her mothers sister Mrs Almedia who was fairly wealthy having been involved in the slave trade. According to a document in the Cape Archives her sister Fanny Maria died some 9 months after her marriage at age 14. Her marriage and the proposed marriage of Elizabeth Ann were opposed by William.

- William Spencer Koeke (who was her cousin) by whom she had a daughter Eulalie who married Thomas Carel Dry and lived in the Free State
- Samuel Thomas Burgess Taylor who she outlived
She died aged 97 in 1909 in Oudtshoorn
