James Drake was born in Eythorne, not Hawthorne. The obituary appears to be incorrect. I have been to Eythorne and seen the home where he was born. Although it looks like 'eye-thorn" it is according to locals pronounced "a-thorn" which when spoken could have sounded like hawthorne. James Drake, great-grandson.
