Hi

I am developing a Family webpage with Family History, Gallery etc. I need to add a family tree page to it. Since I already have a Geni account, Is there any way I can export data from Geni.com and put it my website (HTML5) ?

Thanks !!

Hi, Anoop ... you can link to Geni, either specific profiles, or 'tree view' links, but neither really works well with attempting to 'embed' in another web page as a 'live' link.

Have you considered using a Geni "Project"? It may not be a flexible as a generic web page, but it can be used for a 'Family History' ... I'll reference one I've been working on as an example: http://www.geni.com/projects/Neely-Clan-Master-Project-Overview/13186 (it is actually a set of 'linked' projects ... still far from complete at this writing!).

You can also use the Geni API to get information, but that will involve you getting the 'raw data' and doing all the formatting yourself on your web-pages.

Thanks Dan. I will try that..

My Aim is to put the information from the Geni->Family Tree as it is, and put it on my webiste--> Family Tree page..
