Could anyone find a connection of family Kreppel?
There are both Jewish and German families but the connection is unclear.

We need more German projects on the Jewish Portal. Let me know if anyone needs help setting them up.

Yes. The more the merrier.

That makes three now, and will keep going. If you know of more, could you add them to the related tab, so we can keep tabs on the German Jewish Projects?

Probably we should have a project for each community listed at http://www.jewishgen.org/gersig/communities.htm

I set up an umbrella project at

My Newman/Neumann and Nathan families are from Posen, which was at one time Germany. Modern day Posen is now Poland of course.

I will gladly take suggestions on improving it.

My biological father was born in England but his father came from Lodz, Poland and his grandfather from Warsaw. I am not sure where they came from before that.

My paternal grandmother's family name was "Goldstein". She was born in London, England but her family originated from Poland as well.

My father's family name is "Goldberg" which means "gold mountain".

I do know we are of Ashkenazim Jewish ancestry.

I have found the name Achelpohl and Achelpohler (my Jewish side of the family had this name) Along the North-West of Germany

My German Jewish ancestors came from Brandenburg in the mid to late 1800s. Carl Neumann Joachim Christoph august Neumann is my great great grandpa and Anna dorthea hastedt was my great great grandmother. If anyone is connected to them let me know please. I don't know anyone on that side of my family and neither does many my extended family members. Story goes there were issues with the person someone chose to marry.
