Hello, I believe it would be worth rechecking your data. William Jackson surgeon of Chester le St. was my ggg grandfather. He was actually born on 7th June, 1776 in Lanchester. His MI read died 12th April 1842 aged 66. His father was John Jackson and his mother Margaret Armstrong. His parents were married in Tanfield 15 Oct 1766. Hope you find this helpful.
