I am very glad folks are taking the lead and creating the Galician town projects and linking them from the umbrella project. The next step is to get more collaborators. You should try sending a message to the Galicia SIG on JewishGen about your projects and asking people to join. or even use the JewishGen Family Finder to locate others interested in the town and invite them over to Geni to assist. Once we get a core group over to Geni for each town, the projects should really take off, as they have for Bohemia and Moravia.

Randy,
I did some of what you suggest -- I invited JGFF researchers to join the Sędziszów Małopolski Study Group at https://groups.google.com/forum/?hl=en#!forum/sedziszow_malopolski. So far I think I am the only member.

Too bad. I am not sure why the Galizianers are not running with these projects. It is incredible what we can do with a little cooperation. Keep trying.

How do I replace a placeholder town name here, with a town project? I'd like to create project for Gorlice, #7 under letter G: do I create town project under this Galicia umbrella? then I'm not sure how created link replaces placeholder name?

UPDATE:

44 of the town projects starting with the letter "B" are complete with narrative and photos.

Only one more remains to be completed. Then its on to the town projects starting with the letter "C".
