My family tree goes back to Nigel de Plumpton and Avicia de Clare, his wife. They had a son, Robert de Plumpton.
Avicia de Clare may be the granddaughter of the greatest knight and Templar, William Marshal who was married to Isabel de Clare. I am trying to find out which of Marshall's five daughters she is descended from. His five sons had no issue. William died in 1219 and Isobel died a year later in 1220. I'm interested in knowing how she died as she was only 48. William was about 72.
